 * Is there any work around for Google Workspace’s (Gmail API) when the client changes
   their password? it knocks out their website emails completely, really frustrating
   situation and web developer ends up getting the blame. It’s on the client to
   remember to tell us they changed their password at 2am in the morning or their
   whole website emails go down?
   Error code after client changes their password:
   Token has been expired or revoked.(invalid_grant)Is there any work around to
   improve the connection so it doesn’t constantly drop out?Or is there a way to
   make it send unauthenticated automatically via WordPress, if it fails SMTP so
   at least theirs a slight chance of website emails reaching the clients inbox?
   I’d recommend updating this article to warn anyone setting this up if the Gmail
   password is changed the emails will fail to send: [https://postmansmtp.com/how-to-configure-post-smtp-with-gmailgsuite-using-oauth/](https://postmansmtp.com/how-to-configure-post-smtp-with-gmailgsuite-using-oauth/)
   As API is supposed to fix the issue of the client changing their password..Frustration
   directed at Google not Post SMTP as it looks like their change is causing this
   situation.

 * Hi [@javelin55](https://wordpress.org/support/users/javelin55/)
 * I hope you are doing well.
   You can receive Failed Email notifications through
   Slack, Chrome, or the Post SMTP Mobile App. You can find the Post SMTP Android
   link [here](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.postsmtp&hl=en&gl=US&pli=1)
   and the iOS link [here.](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/post-smtp/id6473368559)
 * After reviewing the article, I’ll make any necessary updates.
 * To prevent this issue, consider setting up a fallback email in the Post SMTP
   settings. This way, if your primary email fails, the fallback will ensure that
   emails still reach your customers.

 * How do you quickly reset the Gmail API / oAUTH on the website side after the
   Google Workspace password is changed? Would be good to include this at the bottom
   of this article.

   Can you make a guide of how to setup a fallback email for Gmail API? or do you
   have to use another provider other than Google? what about DKIM, SPF conflicts
   very confusing.

 * Sure we will add about this in our document asap.
 * You can Set up Fallback using your Gmail account using a Google App password;
   for more details, please follow the guide document [**here**](https://postmansmtp.com/documentation/postman-smtp-documentation/settings-configuration/fallback-settings-using-google-app-password/).
