 * Godaddy.com makes a really easy way to both back up our sites as well as upgrade
to new WordPress versions. The problem is that the WordPress updates are provided
on Godaddy a few weeks after the actual release.
 * Also, when upgrading to 2.3.2 to 2.3.3, the upgrade was perfect for one site,
but Godaddy keeps reverting to the first site (blog.stopccdebt.com) when trying
to upgrade the second website (visioncredit.org). Any ideas? (We have an email
request w/ Godaddy that is not yet resolved)

 * I really don’t know everthing how GoDaddy set up, But, if you’re using their
regular web hosting shared plans. Instead of waiting for Godaddy to upgrade the
lastest wordpress, and to get away from the (blog.stopccdebt.com)issue.
 * Why don’t you just make a folder, and install the lastest WordPress release 2.5,
this way you have all the control of your WordPress so, when the next new release
comes out all you have to is upload the necessary files to activate the upgrade,
   it’s really that easy.
 * It’s also really to install the WordPress. At the sametime if you have an we’ll
establish WordPress Blog that you’ve been blogging for awhile. Then it’s a whole
different ball game, You would have to back up your files, but, before I get
ahead of myself, how do you have your wordpress set up, I’m assuming that it’s
loaded independently on it’s own folder since you’re using Godaddy Pre Application
   Installer.
 * In that the case, you need to backup your files, move it another folder, However
you have to delete (blog.stopccdebt.com) file. and maybe one more. I really don’t
know, since I can’t see the file. So I can’t give you a guarantee fix solution.
 * But, I do know if you just manual install the WordPress you wouldn’t have to
wait for WordPress upgrades when they release.
 * Have a great day! Good luck..

 * GoDaddy’s WordPress automated setup/upgrades have never worked for me. I do it
myself when I have to use their sites. It’s way easier, IMO, than trying to figure
out their frankly bizarre control panel system.
 * Really, do it yourself. You won’t have to wait for anything, and you learn more.

 * Thanks. I think we will continue with updating on our own. We have 3 different
   sites that use WordPress.
 * It becomes a bit of a chore updating all 3, so we were looking for a shortcut
through Godaddy. It worked great (when it worked) and was much easier and faster(
you just hit the button). It looks like we will continue to do manual upgrades
if the Godaddy update does not work.
 * Thanks for the info. We don’t claim to be experts, just motivated low income
   nonprofit folks!
