• I installed the plugin upload watermark. Everything ok except watermarks was also appearing on my homepage under posts pictures on homepage. So then i decide not to use it and deactivate it. What a surprise that watermark didnt disappear from homepage pictures as it should.Probably some compatibility issue with wordpress 4.4.
    Please help!
    Thanks

    Hello surfmen,

    as written in the documentation, what you experienced is due to cache issue, either from your browser cache or server cache.

    If you’re sure that both are emptied and renewed, then check if .htaccess file is present in your uploads/ directory. Delete it if necessary.

    The plugin does not modify the original image, because it is not coded to do so.

    Let me know if you still have any issue.

    PS: this is not linked to version compatibility.

    You have to update it in the same place that you made it https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/view/plugin-reviews/alti-watermark#postform

    Done. Can you tell me how to select on which images use watermark and which not?
    Thanks

    You cannot select images in which to apply or not the watermark.
    But you can choose which «format», for example : big format, full format or small format.
    You can have more formats depending on the WordPress theme you are using.

    @andrew thanks for your help.
