# Google Analytics issue

 * After implementing the Complianz plugin, Google Analytics started reporting a
   much lower number than the actual one.
 * The statistical settings are configured as follows:
    - I have opted in to anonymize IP (checked all 3 checkboxes)
    - I selected the option ‘No’ for the question ‘Do you want to ask for consent
      for statistics?
 * On the cookie banner, in the preferences section, shows the Statistics button
   as disabled by default. Maybe this could be the cause of the difference.
 * Could please help me how to fix it?

 * Hi [@juyama](https://wordpress.org/support/users/juyama/),
 * Do you have the option “Do you target visitors from Germany, Austria, Belgium
   and/or Spain?” set to Yes, under _Complianz -> Wizard -> General -> Visitors?_
 * If so, that’s the most-likely reason for this behavior, as obtaining consent
   for Statistics is required in that case.
 * Kind regards, Jarno

   as juyama but still the traffic is lower in GA and when testing does not show
   users from regions where they are.

 * Is there any other solution to help me please?
