# Google Analytics Token missing error

 * We have tired to activate google analytics through sitekit on wordpress.
 * However when it takes us to the terms and conditions, it comes up with the following
   error:
 * Error: Account token is missing.
 * Sitekit has been updated to version 1.11.0, but still gives this error.
 * Please help?

 * I see a new version of Sitekite was released, v 1.11.1.
 * We have updated Sitekite to this, and it has worked.
 * There was no token missing error!

 * A quick workaround while we’re investigating this is to manually create an Analytics
   account at [analytics.google.com](http://analytics.google.com/) before then attempting
   to setup via Site Kit.
