Google Apps email limitation

    I’m interested in integrating your solution with one of our Google Apps email account. Do you know if this daily limitation of 2,000 emails will apply? https://support.google.com/a/answer/166852?hl=en

    If so, would we double our daily limit if we specified a backup account in the same domain?

    don’t understand the question….

    Your account will be limited to 2000 emails and you can’t double it.

    My question was two fold:
    1. Does Google Mail integrated with SMTP have a daily limit of 2,000 emails. Sounds like the answer is yes.

    2. I have several email accounts under the same domain. If I use another email account under backup, does that mean it will try to send with another email if I hit the daily limit in the first account?

    1. Correct
    2. Yes, but there will be a delay for each delivery because there is two sending attemps.
