Google Cannot index Site

    I have no robots.txt currently, and this is a fresh install of wordpress 2.2 in the root directory. Yet google keeps pulling this mysterious robots.txt file from nowhere that has the following:

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /

    So everything is disallowed. Google can’t do anything with my site! Has anyone else run into this?

    look at options –> privacy in your admin area.

    and for future reference, these sorts of posts typically are helped along with a url of the blog — you got lucky on this one.
