 * About a week ago all my client’s sites set to backup to my Google Drive started
   coming up with “Google Drive: ERROR: Have not yet obtained an access token from
   Google (has the user authorised?)” in the logs.
 * I’ve gone through to clear settings and re-authenticate, at which point I get
   both “Success: you have authenticated your Google Drive account.” and “Google
   Drive: Have not yet obtained an access token from Google – you need to authorise
   or re-authorise your connection to Google Drive.” appearing as banners in the
   plugin settings pages.
 * The only exceptions were sites set up the old way, where I had to create an Updraft
   project in the Google Drive API management thingywotsit. Those sites weren’t
   having access token issues.
 * Everything’s updated. I’ve tried turning off security/caching plugins. Any ideas?

 * Can you please try to Wipe settings from UpdraftPlus > Advanced tools > Wipe
   Settings, Click the Wipe settings button.
 * Then go to UpdraftPlus > Settings, re-authenticate to your GoogleDrive account,
   Save the settings and re-run the backup process.
 * Check if the backup process is now completed?
 * Thanks,
    Harshad

 * Hi Harshad,
 * Thanks for getting back to me. Tried this again but no luck. Backups are still
   failing, seemingly for the same reason:
 * “0068.115 (0) Google Drive: ERROR: Have not yet obtained an access token from
   Google (has the user authorised?)
    0068.116 (0) An error condition has occurred
   for the first time during this job”

 * Hi Harshad,
 * Sorry to bug you – was there anything more in the logs that might help?
 * Problem is still ongoing.
 * I’m wondering if it might be worth me revoked permission from the Google side
   of things and trying again after that.

 * Extremely sorry for the delay!
 * The log shows:
    0068.115 (0) Google Drive: ERROR: Have not yet obtained an access
   token from Google (has the user authorised?)
 * Can you please try to Wipe settings from UpdraftPlus > Advanced tools > Wipe
   settings, Click Wipe settings button.
 * Then go to UpdraftPlus > Settings, re-authenticate to your GoogleDrive account
   then click Save settings and re-run the backup process.
 * Check if the backup process works as expected.
 * Thanks,

 * No trouble.
 * I did try to wipe settings previously but the same error occurred.
 * I tried revoking permissions from the Google account side of things, then just
   going through each client site and re-authenticating. This has worked and things
   appear to be up and running again.
 * It’s weird how they all just stopped working one day after years (for some) of
   being fine. Thanks for your help though.
