 * I have recently started getting one error after another in Google webmaster tools.
The first ones started when I added a WP forum, I got 3 errors, but they were
for the admin section. I can’t understand why Google would even be crawling the
back end of the forum. So I removed the forum.
 * Then yesterday I noticed traffic was down, and I have a new lot of errors, 21
in total, some different, some the same… a couple of examples:
    wp-includes/Requests/
   Exception/HTTP/402.php wp-includes/customize/class-wp-customize-custom-css-setting.
php wp-includes/Requests/Exception/HTTP/505.php One thing I have noticed is that
they all have this ‘includes’ error.
 * I am not tech savvy in the slightest, so asking me to go into the actual code
and alter things, well I wouldn’t have a clue where to start.
 * The only thing I have done was to change the sitemap plugin from ‘Google sitemaps’
to ‘Bestwebsoft sitemaps’ needless to say I have since changed back, although
I have no idea whether this caused the errors or not.
 * Does anyone have any ideas why Google suddenly started to hate my site?
 * Thanks in advance.

 * It could be the sitemap tool had a bug, causing it to list inappropriate links,
IDK. For Google bot to attempt to crawl such pages, in theory it should have
encountered such links in an anchor tag somewhere or on your sitemap. It will
request external resources that are linked on the page as well, such as CSS stylesheets.
It’s not unheard of for Google bot to request things from /wp-includes/, typically
   the /js/ and /css/ resources.
 * Go into Webmaster tools (Goolge wants us to call it “Search Console” now). Each
listed error should eventually link to a modal that lists referring pages. If
the referring pages are from your site and the URL appears in any anchor tag,(`
<a>` tag) on the referring page, it’s incorrect and should be fixed. Often enough,
no referring page is listed. In that case, just mark the error as resolved, there’s
nothing to fix. I’ve no idea how Google bot gets links with no referrers, it’s
   illogical.
 * If the referrer is external to your site, you can disavow the link in (_ahem_)“
   Search Console”.
