  • Hi,

If Google has indexed pages that no longer exist like http://virtualni-prohlidky-360.cz/2018/06/156/ we suggest resubmitting your sitemap. To resubmit your sitemap:
    1. Go to your Google Search Console
    2. Click on your site
    3. Find Crawl in the Dashboard (left hand side most likely)
    4. Select Sitemaps
    5. Click on the sitemap. It should be the sitemap_index.xml one.
    6. Find the red Resubmit button in the top-right and click on it

We’ve added a guide by Google that explains the process: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/183669?hl=en.

When that happens Google will crawl your site and update the index. You may then expect over time that those pages will drop off from Google.

With the pages that already exist in Google you should redirect them. That way if a user clicks on the url they will get redirect to a different page on your site instead being shown a 404.

Yoast SEO Premium has the ability to make redirects. You can learn more about Yoast SEO Premium including how to buy it here: https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/.

However, you may review the WordPress plugin repository for a Redirection plugin that can best match your needs: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins too.

    Closed. No further questions.
