# Google Maps API Key

 * I updated the plugin today and was requested to get the Google Maps API Key. 
   Since there are different options for different APIs available, I was wondering
   if you could specify, which API Key is needed.

 * Hi,
    You need a combined key for Google Static Maps API and Google Maps Embed
   API; or to be more precise just enable both of those services on the APIs list
   in the console. We’re working on a video and some image-based instructions; know
   the console is a bit scary 🙂 Don’t hesitate to reopen this ticket if I wasn’t
   clear enough.
