# Google Maps API sensor error

 * Hello,
 * With Firefox, I get this error message on the page that should display the map:
   
   The Google Maps API server rejected your request. The “sensor” parameter specified
   in the request must be set to either “true” or “false”
 * And the map is not displayed.
 * It works well on Chrome.
 * What can I do?

 * After some tests, I found that it doesn’t come from Firefox.
    It happens with
   all browsers when we are not connected on the site.

 * Solution found.
    It came from the Better WP Security plugin. If we uncheck the
   checkbox “Display random version number to all non-administrative users”, it 
   works.

 * Better WP Security’s developer [may add a whitelist to his plugin in the future](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-better-wp-security-google-maps-api?replies=12)
   to avoid this.
