I am using Woocommerce and Woodmart theme.

unfortunately on “google merchant center” I got error on “Sizes”

    “Missing value [size]

I do not know why google merchandise can not recognize size option on my website?

I contacted with support team of google merchant and they told me that this is problem on my website structure and I should contact with my CMS developers!

I think google crawl can not recognize size option.

support team told me that it is added under the description not under specific point of SIZE!

but I did not changed anything on my website!

Could yo help me to fix problems.

    Hi @mildaco

I understand that Google Merchant Center isn’t picking up the ‘Size’ attribute of your products on your WooCommerce store. I’d love to help you troubleshoot this!

To start, could you tell me how you linked your WooCommerce store to Google Merchant Center? For instance, did you use a plugin like Google Listings & Ads or Google Product Feed?

In order to have a better understanding of the exact issue you are experiencing, please can you share a copy of the following:

    • System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.

You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

Once you have these, please share them in your response here.

    Thanks!

    Hello @mildaco,

If you’re using the Google Product Feed extension on WooCommerce.com, then please open a new ticket about this from WooCommerce.com > MY profile > Support.

This way, we can pass your request directly to the plugin author. Also, please make sure to contact us from the same account you used to purchase the extension.

    Cheers!

I do not use a plugin right now and for now I would like to use a free plugin.

if I install Google Listings & Ads Does this plugin cause interference?

    Hi @mildaco

I do not use a plugin right now and for now I would like to use a free plugin. if I install Google Listings & Ads Does this plugin cause interference?

The Google Listings & Ads plugin can indeed help you sync your WooCommerce products with Google Merchant Center. It’s designed to help you manage your Google listings and ads directly from your WooCommerce dashboard. It’s a free plugin and it should not interfere with your website’s functionality.

However, please note that even though the plugin can help you list your products on Google, you still need to ensure that your product data meets Google’s product data specification. This includes providing a valid ‘size’ attribute for your products if it’s relevant.

If you’re having trouble with the ‘size’ attribute, you might want to check how you’ve set it up in WooCommerce. It should be set as a product attribute, and not just included in the product description. You can do this by going to Products > Attributes in your WooCommerce dashboard. 👉 You can learn more about Adding Attributes Here

Once you’ve set up the ‘size’ attribute correctly, you can map it to the ‘size’ attribute in Google Merchant Center using the Google Listings & Ads plugin. 👉 You can learn more about Google Listings & Ads Here

I noticed that this thread has already been marked as resolved, which is fantastic. However, if you ever have more questions or issues in the future, don’t hesitate to kick off a new topic.

    Cheers!

Thank you for your fast reply.

    yes I added product attribute.

All sizes available in attribute section but Google merchant can not recognize it!

you can see my shop page and check yourself.

    Hi @mildaco,

The issue is that Google Merchant Center (GMC) isn’t detecting your size attributes. Google Listings & Ads provides the option to map WooCommerce attributes such as size, color, etc., to GMC, so using the plugin will resolve the issue you’re seeing.

Please set it up and if you need further assistance, create a new thread so we can help further.

    Hi @mildaco,

You can achieve your goal using either of these approaches:

    1. Global mapping – using the Google Listings & Ads attribute mapper, you can map attribute rules to help Google Merchant Center know where to find your size, color, etc., attributes. I recorded a video guide for you:https://d.pr/v/luGnQf (Please note that this will only work if your products are using global attributes, not attributes created on the individual product pages)

Please refer to the attribute mapping documentation for more info.
    2. Single product mapping – You can specify the product size directly on the product editing screen. Here’s how: https://d.pr/v/eVEEnT (You’d have to edit each product individually and specify the size when using this method). For variable products, you’ll see the option when you expand the variations.

I highly recommend reading the plugin’s documentation.

    Hello @mildaco,

but “visible on the product page is off” (please see picture below to find what i mean)

This setting simply determines whether you want these attributes to be shown on the front end or not. Feel free to choose the option you like. :‎)

    Hi @mildaco,

We’re here to help. To confirm, did you try following the guide I shared earlier or watch the video I recorded? I’m asking as the guide provides a step-by-step guide on resolving the issue you’re seeing.

I’m going to add the previous guide below:

Regarding your ticket, our support team respond to tickets on a case-by-case basis. We appreciate your patience and assure you that we will get to your ticket as soon as possible.

In the meantime, per the forum rules, discussions related to Google Listing & Ads should happen in the Google Listings & Ads plugin forum and not the core WooCommerce plugin forum. With this in mind, I’ll keep this thread closed.
