 * Hello, I use Jetpack “Publicize” feature, but when Jetpack shares my posts to
   my Google+ page, the urls are “[http://&#8221](http://&#8221); instead of “[https://&#8221](https://&#8221);.
   Obviously my site is https:// so I’d like to share on Google+ the proper url
   https and not http.
 * Same thing happen to Tublr page too.
 * thanks for fixing
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fgoogle-publicize-doesnt-share-https-url%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * Hi there,
 * From what I’m able to find out, it appears that this is happening on Google+
   and Tumblr’s end. If your site had a https connection at the time you connected
   it to Jetpack, as is the case here, we are sharing the https version of the link
   with other services. If those services decide, for whatever reason, to then include
   a http link instead on the actual post there, I’m afraid there’s not much we
   can do.
 * We do have an open issue about giving people more control over the content of
   the actual post that’s created when sharing to Tumblr in [https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/520](https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/520).
   I’ll add a note there of this as well in case it’s something we can address there.
 * I also found an existing report of this for Google+ in [https://github.com/Automattic/jpop-issues/issues/854](https://github.com/Automattic/jpop-issues/issues/854),
   but given that [Google will be retiring the Google+ service](https://cloud.google.com/blog/products/g-suite/announcing-upcoming-changes-to-our-consumer-googleplus-and-gmail-services-increased-investment-in-googleplus-for-the-enterprise)
   in a few months it’s unlikely we’ll be addressing this for this particular service–
   not much point in trying to change or fix something we’re going to have to remove
   completely in a few months anyway 🙂
