 * The official plugin from Google Tag is saying that the tag installed on my site

 * I was having a similar issue. I had uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled it.
   After I added and authorized my tags, the placement and other settings in the
   plugin were not set to anything. When I set all of the settings to _something_,
   the JS code and Analytics reference appeared.
