There isn’t. As such, Google doesn’t even support playing its videos via a lightbox. I opened a feature request with them about 1.5 years back, but none from their team have responded.
What you are seeing in Photonic is a result of my familiarity with the older Picasa API – I was able to pull videos from Google using a workaround (I provide a size, e.g. m37). However, as a limitation you HAVE to provide the video resolution, and apart from m18, m22 or m37 there were no other resolutions available in Picasa, and if Google in the current API have any higher resolution, they haven’t made that documentation public.
You can add your note to the feature request I have linked above, to see if Google provides any such feature.
