 * Continuation of the discussion on a Google Webfonts not loading problem.
 * I have the latest theme version (2.2.1). I also downloaded the suggested plug-
in. I’m using a child theme, and switching back and forth between the original.
The problem still persists for Google Webfonts despite changing each option in
the typography section of the theme.

 * Hmm are you trying to load “Abel” font anywhere?
 * Can you email me [ben@kadencethemes.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/google-webfonts-problem/ben@kadencethemes.com?output_format=md)

 * Nope. I’m trying to use Lobster, Tangerine, and Garamond. Lobster and Tangerine
are not working. They were working about a month before, and I stopped updating
the website. I only recently noticed that they stopped working after I started
updating content versions. I probably couldn’t tell you when the problem started.

 * It’s strange because the only font that is being loaded is abel. Are you using
a child theme? Is there any kind of caching going on?

 * I’m not sure why it is picking Abel. I don’t have that selected anywhere. Right
now I just tried saving on both the original theme and the child theme, same
issues. I have tried editing in Firefox, Chrome, and Chrome incognito mode. I
also tried deactivating each plugin as well as a fresh install of the Virtue
theme folder. Still the same issues. Very strange indeed.

 * Issue resolved. One of the font selections from the theme Typography menu was
out of date and had to be reselected (old: Garamond. New: Garamond serif).
 * Kadence Themes/Ben is awesome.
