# Google Webmaster Tools Can't Render Map

 * Hi – The map is working great but in Google Webmaster Tools “Fetch As Google”,
   the Googlebot can’t find/render the map on the page (produced by your widget).
   The page is rendered as ‘partial’ and Google Webmaster Tools says it can’t render
   the image as it is ‘blocked’. Have you seen this before? Website is [http://pva-inc.com](http://pva-inc.com)
 * Googlebot couldn’t get all resources for this page. Here’s a list:

 * Hi, as you can see that image is hosted by Google. So they’re claiming they can’t
   access an image hosted by themselves 🙁 That’s a bit bizarre and unfortunately
   not something we can fix as we have no control over things hosted by them. I 
   believe it’s just a temporary thing that will sort itself out, but if it doesn’t
   the only thing I can suggest is contacting GWT support and ask them to see what’s
   going on. Really not much we can do here 🙁

 * Hi – I did contact them and someone responded FYI:
 * There’s not much (i.e. nothing) you can do. It’s Google itself that is blocking
   resources on their end in their robots.txt file:
    [http://maps.googleapis.com/robots.txt](http://maps.googleapis.com/robots.txt)
 * All it allows for bots is to access (certain?) javascript files.

 * Yes, the robots file really does look like it’s blocking images 🙁 Sorry, really
   nothing that can be done until Google changes that.
