# googlemaps shortcode ?

 * Hi,
 * Is Jetpack responsible for the automatic substitution of a Google Maps iframe
   embed code snippet by a shortcode in the form of `[googlemaps https://maps.google.
   com/maps/ms... ]` by any chance? I could not find any mention of it in the shortcode
   module (learn more) description but I did finally find it on [http://en.support.wordpress.com/tag/shortcode/](http://en.support.wordpress.com/tag/shortcode/)
 * This sudden substitution basically wrecked the layout of the map in the post 
   because it used a 100% width which got translated to 100px.
 * Not a big issue as I learned that adding the % sign back to the w=100 parameter
   fixed it but there is another problem:
 * Below the map, there is the linked text “View Larger Map” automatically added.
   I do not want this. Or, if it _must_ be there, at least in the sites native language(
   in my case French)…
 * Is this at all possible? Does the shorcode take other parameters that just the
   maps URL to control this?
