 * I have been trying to set up google pay on our site. Express checkouts such as
   google pay, apple pay, and Paypal express are set up to be usable via our product
   pages, cart, mini-cart, and checkout page.
 * We are getting error messages saying that “the Merchant is not enabled for google
   pay”. I have enabled this in our Braintree dashboard, as well as in the plugin
   itself. I have also input our google merchant id for the domain shoefit.uk which
   has been verified by google.
 * The secondary error message is “you have not registered to use this API” after
   I close the google pay popup.
 * I have looked at similar topics, although I seem to have taken these steps already.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fgooglepay-production-problems%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hi [@shoefituk](https://wordpress.org/support/users/shoefituk/),
 * Thank you for contacting us. That issue is always caused when the domain name
   entry in the Google Pay console is not valid. If you entered `shoefit.uk` and
   it’s not working, then try updating your domain entry to `www.shoefit.uk`.
 * That entry is based on your DNS settings, so if you do a 302 redirect to the
   non www domain, you will still want to add the `www` prefix in your settings.
 * Give that a try and after waiting about 15 minutes test again and let us know
   how it goes.
 * Kind Regards,

 * Hi,
 * So I was not allowed to make a submission without the www. by googles authentication
   system so the domain in the google pay console is [http://www.shoefit.uk](http://www.shoefit.uk)
   already.
 * Kind regards

 * Hi [@shoefituk](https://wordpress.org/support/users/shoefituk/),
 * Then you will need to edit your entry and remove the `www` prefix. The solution
   to this error is to always do the opposite of your current entry. So if you have`
   www` then remove it. If you’re missing the `www`, then add it.
 * > So I was not allowed to make a submission without the www
 * There shouldn’t be any validation logic within the GPay Console that prevents
   you form submitting the entry `shoefit.uk`. You don’t add the https part in the
   domain setting.

 * Hi [@mrclayton](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mrclayton/)
 * I will have to submit a new url for approval, I will email on my current support
   ticket to see if they can push it through any faster. I will update once it is
   validated.
 * Kind regards

 * Hi [@shoefituk](https://wordpress.org/support/users/shoefituk/)
 * Please note this is the domain name setting, not the URL setting.
 * Kind regards

 * Hi [@mrclayton](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mrclayton/)
 * There is only one place to put a domain in the google pay console, I assume this
   is what I need to change? it cannot be edited, so I have to submit it as a new
   domain, the only other option is the integration type which is gateway and then
   5 photo attachments.

 * Yes, that is what you need to change.
 * Per the plugin documentation, you would select the Gateway integration type.
