As well as managing updating of WP core, themes and plugins of multiple sites, this system has a useful and growing range of other management tools, eg. uptime monitoring. Be aware, though, that most of these additional tools are paid-for extras. If you are managing many websites the moderate expense of these extras are fully justified by the time you save.
