I’m trying to figure out how to use the grid layout. From the WordPress dashboard I go to customize and can only find “site layout” then “web site layout” and within that menu there is only a drop down menu for “wide” or “boxed”. I read the theme manual but cannot find Page Attributes in any menu that I have access to.

    Hey madridmerola,

    thank you for choosing Bento!

In order to create a grid page, please go to the “Pages -> Add New” admin section, and in the editor mode for the new page, choose the “Grid” template in the “Page Attributes” box in the right sidebar. After that, a settings box with grid layout options will appear underneath the main content editing area. More info on this in this section of the theme manual 😉 in case that section seems vague in any place, please let me know, we’ll keep improving it!

    Sincerely,

Okay, I see how to do this now. What about on the home page? I am hoping to make “home” a grid layout too but I can’t find the page for home since it exists by default.

    Hey madridmerola,

in order to set up a grid on the front page, please create a page in “Pages -> Add New”, set it to grid layout, save it, and then go to “Settings -> Reading” and assign that page as the static front page in the “Front Page Displays” section.

    Sincerely,
