# GTM Consent Initialization

 * Hello and good day. I am configuring google tag manager and would like to know
   if I should or should not be using Consent Initialization for page view triggers.

 * I know your plugin handles the consent, but does it communicate/integrate with
   this particular feature of GMT?
 * I don’t want to add the consent initialization if it is not going to be used 
   and interferes with my tag firing and analytics.

   Thank you 
   for reaching out. For the page view triggers, you can simply use the page view
   option.
 * Our plugin communicates directly with GTM.
 * The only time you will only need to use the Consent Initialization trigger will
   be, eventually, when setting up the template tag for the Consent Mode v2. You
