GTranslate plugin not working

    I am using the free version of the plugin which is showing the language dropdown but not taking any translation action when a language is clicked. I’ve installed the Cookies and Content Security Policy plugin and specifically allowed the domains for GTranslate. I don’t get any error messages in the Console for resources that can’t be loaded yet the plugin is still not working.

    Hi,

    This is the error message I see in the browser console:

    Refused to load the script 'https://translate.google.com/translate_a/element.js?cb=googleTranslateElementInit2' because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "script-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline' 'unsafe-eval' https://s3.amazonaws.com/ https://*.list-manage.com/". Note that 'script-src-elem' was not explicitly set, so 'script-src' is used as a fallback.

    Please configure your Content Security Policy directive properly.

    I do not see those messages in the browser console in Safari, Firefox or Chrome on my iMac running Ventura 13.5.2. What browser are you using? I have made a number of changes since you first responded to my first support submission. Would you please clear your browser and cookie cache and try again? https://makingchangecenter.org

    This is your current configuration from the HTML source code:

    You will need to add https://translate.google.com into the list. You also have similar issues with googletagmanager.com.

    Please consult the plugin developer responsible for Content-Security-Policy if you cannot solve it yourself.

    Good, now I see you have some Nice Selector library (/wp-content/themes/consultio/assets/js/nice-select.min.js) which is modifying our dropdown. Make sure to add exception, so it doesn’t apply to .gt_selector class.

    Alternatively you can use another widget look like Float for GTranslate.
