Gutenberg Post block editor is gone

Hi,
In the Gutenberg editor where I create a blog post, normally on the right hand side there are many field you can edit, like Featured image, Alt text etc and the Cogwheel at the top. That is all gone! It must be something simple, but I can’t find it. Please help.

It must be someting really simple, like a toggle, because one moment everything is there and the next moment it’s gone.
And the block menu at the top of the block, like Paragraph, Bold, Allign is now at the top of the page!?
And when you press Escape above the blocks you want to edit a black field or thingy appears with a paragraph symbol where you normally can select Bold, Allign etc.
