# Having Problem with Square Payment – VALUE_TOO_LONG

 * I’m getting this error message on my website when using square as my payment 
   method. I have not encountered this issue before, and I tried to rollback the
   version of the plugin and the error still shows. I am using WordPress 5.5.1 and
   Wocommerce 4.5.2. The Woocommerce Square plugin version is 2.2.2
 * Square Payment Failed (Status code VALUE_TOO_LONG: Field must not be greater 
   than 45 length) intext:”Plugin: WooSquare – Square for WooCommerce”

 * I checked on the browser’s console and no errors on the checkout. It’s just that
   the idempotency_key is exceeding 45 characters when I checked the debug log. 
   However, I managed to make it work now by tweaking the length of the $key_input
   that it is being added to the idempotency_key.
