# Having problems between Elementor Web design and WordPress Sync

 * Our site was built with elementor, but for some reason almost everytime I edit
   something with the WordPress editor, it makes my site lose its design. It gets
   lost or deleted, and I need to go back to the latest revision which means I can’t
   really make certain necessary changes to my site that elementor doesn’t have 
   the option to edit. This has happened especially with image alt attributes.

 * Are you using the classic editor or the block editor? At this point, it’s probably
   best if you use the classic editor. PLUGINS->ADD NEW
 * I recommend asking at [https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/elementor#new-post](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/elementor#new-post)
   so the plugin’s / theme’s developers and support community can help you with 
   this.

 * IF you don’t have the plugin “classic editor” or “disable gutenberg” active, 
   then you’re using the new block editor. Make sure you have the latest version
   of Elementor.
