 * is there any way to add extra header content to the free Make theme? short of
   coding I mean! I have a logo on one side but there’s an awful lot of white space
   on the other side!

 * what kind of content you ask?
 * text, image, maybe use a plugin for a call to action button…
 * as you know if you’re familiar with this theme ,it has sidebar and footer widgets,
   but no header widget on the widgets page

 * You could make the logo bigger via css styling. But, generally, in my experience,
   it is what it is, unless you want to do a little php coding in your header.php
   file. It’s not that hard, though.

 * I’ve tried various sizes of the logo that I made in Photoshop. that works fine,
   no PCP or CBS or any other codes that I don’t know needed.
 * I’m getting frustrated because I have tried: twenty fifteen, twenty fourteen,
   Responsive, Make, Virtue, and others.
 * isn’t there a theme that will allow me to deal with the header, footer, sidebars,
   main content page and just add my content (logo, phone #, pictures, text) without
   doing coding?

 * Oh! Sorry! I misunderstood. It thought you were trying to add an additional logo
   or something. You might look into Divi from Elegant Themes. That one’s pretty
   flexible. You can add your logo, etc., very easily.

 * Hi **[@stevesev](https://wordpress.org/support/users/stevesev/)**! **Make** is
   designed to accommodate all sorts of different layouts and uses. Have you tried
   using one of the built-in header layouts? You could try adding your phone number
   in the _Header Bar_.
