• Hi everyone!

Earlier I’ve been changing themes on my website and there was a theme I recently installed and activated and now I cannot edit my website. This is the error message:

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home1/flamingo2017/public_html/wp-content/themes/positor/inc/metaboxes.php:10) in /home1/flamingo2017/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1216

I do not remember which theme it was. Honestly, I’m not sure if this is the correct forum to ask this question but I assumed it was since I can’t even edit my site.
I saw the error message before but I was able to edit the webpage. Now, a few hours later, I can’t log on my site to edit.
I am perfectly okay with resetting WP and starting from scratch, I saved enough information to start over again.

    Help!

    Sincerely,
    Krystle

  • The problem is the positor theme. Access your filesystem using FTP and rename the positor dir (wp-content > themes > ) to something else. Your worpdress will automatically switch to an twenty* theme.

EDIT: I posted this answer while didn’t see @staartmees ‘s post above, same info actually so I deleted mine to prevent confusing and save time reading.

@staartmees and @paulxp Your advice worked and I fixed it! Thank you so much I really appreciate the help 🙂 Since I’m not very computer savvy I had to go through the cpanel and just deleted the theme, then I was able to go back and edit.
