    Hello,

    I need help adjusting the size of my header image. When I look at the image from a laptop it appears much too large and takes up more space than I would like on the home page. I already tried to play around with the aspect ratio when uploading/editing the image but for some reason it doesn’t save. Please help?

    Thank you for contacting us.

    I’ve just visited your website and tried the same photo on my local installation of Kale. It seems to be the cropping issue.
    Could you please go through the same procedure of adding header picture again?

    Customize -> Header image -> Add new image -> then select the same picture from media gallery -> click on Select and crop -> adjust cropping position the way you fell like -> Crop image and wait for the WordPress to finish cropping?

    At that point it should be properly cropped. Don’t forget to click on Save&publish before navigating away from the page. Please let me know if that helped.

    @bougieambitions – You’ll either need to crop the image after uploading or resize it before uploading it. The header image shows as-is, so you do have control over how big you wish to show it.
