Scott, your website is beautiful! How did you manage to create the photo slideshow on your homepage? I’d love to do that on my site!
Thanks!
Betsy
Hi Betsy,
thank you.
i will try and post a post on my blog to show you how that can be done.
brb on that.
scott
was going to send u a link where i got the information.
but saw that the site is down.
Thanks so much for the great instructions, Scott! I followed the steps and I can tell it ALMOST worked; the little dots and arrows for the slideshow appeared on my menu bar. But I can’t get the pictures to show up! Do you have any ideas?
Here’s the website:

Scott,
I love your website. I am also using Pinboard and wanted to know how you set the page width that don’t have the slideshow? I wanted them to be the same width as the homepage. Thanks.

Hi Scott, many thanks for the info, much appreciated. I do have the same problem as Betsy: the white dots and arrows appear but no images.
Tried messing around with different post formats (standard, gallery, image, audio, video, etc) but no difference but no luck there.
Just wondering if there might be any other variables in the user interface that could cause the images not to show up.
Appreciate any input.
Many thanks,
Andrew
Hello scottgoh
How do you add 720×100 image in header?
I mean you don’t have any problems with social icons etc.
When you click “Add Media” to the post, you have to click “Set Featured Gallery” before selecting your photo. Do this for all your posts and you get the slideshow π
PS Cracking blog all the same Scott. Keep up the good work.
Kingtutu, that was the winning answer!!! Thank you!!
And thank you for taking the time to reply, much appreciated.
That worked for me as well! But important to note that I had to BOTH make it the “featured image” AND drag it into the post box – it wouldn’t work with just one or the other!
