• Hi, I am Rizwan on narrowapple.com Today I go to editorial sections to make some changes to header.php file when I Completed my customization I hit on update But, Unfortunately
    This Pop up will appear (“Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP.”) & my header.php page code was deleted.

  • Hi, I assume you know how to use FTP or SFTP.

    Which header.php that was accidentally got deleted ? If it’s one of your theme file, if you have your theme files on your local machine, I suggest you upload that using FTP/SFTP or even your Hosting File Manager. Same goes for another header.php file, just remember on which directory that header.php was accidentally being deleted.

    I’m having the same issue. However, I do not know anything about FTP or SFTP. I’m not that tech-savvy.
    Any simplified help would be wonderful.
    I did manage to copy the entirety of the header.php code before it was wiped though.

    I copied it before I made changes. When I pasted I get this message.
    I made a new post so hopefully I can find out more.
