 * Hi
 * I recently added another domain to my webhosting… so now I have two: RockingSpectrum.
com (the first) and then eliasportfolio.site which I attached to the first… this
was done with guide from unoeuro …
 * I have been working on the portfolio so it HAS been working. But now it gives
some sort of header alert when I try to access the portfolio – and a 406 alert
on BOTH sites when I try to access the dashboard to try and fix the first headerproblem.
 * I hope you can guide me in the right direction. I am not particularly skilled
though so bare with me if I don’t get it at first. I’m struggling a bit with
   the expert pro language.
 * I have been told to look at some header.php but I don’t know how or where to
   do that.
 * I can’t Update any plugins or erase themes because when I try to get to the Dashboard
   I’m ‘blocked’ by a 406 message.
 * I so hope someone can help.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fheader-problem-and-406-error%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * The “header” in WP for which header.php relates is a different header than the
one referred to in the error messages. In establishing a HTTP connection, various“
header” information is exchanged. It is these headers being referred to, not
the header visible on WP pages for which header.php is responsible.
 * What sort of “header alert” do you see with your portfolio? Can you provide a
link directly to a page demonstrating this alert?
 * Unfortunately, we are unable to observe admin area pages for ourselves. Access
to privileged areas by forum members is not allowed by forum guidelines. All
I can tell you is 406 errors indicate an issue with browser or server configuration
where one of the “Accept” headers exchanged during communication establishment
do not match up with what the server can deliver. This indicates a browser or
   server configuration issue.
 * Try accessing the admin pages throwing 406 errors with your browser in safe mode(
no browser plugins or add-ons active). If you still get 406 errors, I suggest
you contact your host for assistance.
