When using the Contact widget in Hello+, the button which is supposed to be able to be used to link to a map (named “visit” by default) tries to include the phone button’s function within its own, preventing the link from working. This problem occurs regardless of which platform is selected (setting the platform to maps did not help and even if left completely blank, the link still tries to act as the phone link). This problem is persistent even when recreating the contact widget from scratch and I have been unable to find a resolution.

A follow-up to this: With a little more experimenting I found that the issue is actually persistent across all platforms (phone, email, url, maps, etc.) and has to do with the item groups. For any items in group 1, the corresponding item numbers of the following groups will be broken. For instance, if the first item in group 1 is an email and you try to add contact links (such as a phone number) to group 2, they will include the email function from the button in group 1 in their own function (creating a combined function that reads “mailto:[email protected] tel:XXX-XXX-XXXX”), causing them not to work. If you were to then try to add a contact link in group 3, it would do the same. No matter what, if you try to add contact links outside of group 1, they will inherit the function from the links in group 1 that correspond to their item number within the group (item 1 in group 2 inherits item 1 group 1, item 1 in group 3 inherits item 1 group 1, etc), regardless of what platform you select.

Hi @wunny sorry for the late reply, I tried to replicate the issue but was not able to replicate it.

Could you give me some more information about your setup? What version of the hello-plus plugin are you using? What theme are you using? What elementor core version?
