• My husband is the new minister our at our church. In speaking with the previous minister today, he guided me through the login, advised me to create a new user and delete his wife and himself from as administrators.

Well, I followed his instructions, and next thing we had NO pages. Everything was gone!

Is there a way to undo them from being deleted and restore our pages?

    Thank You
    Nancy

PS I would also like to know is there a phone number for support?

  • If you failed to assigned posts/pages to a new user (there are two options presented to you when deleting a user… one to delete the user and their posts, and one to delete the user and reassigned their posts) when you deleted them, about your only option would be to ask your web host to restore a backup of your database.

There may be a support number for your web host… you would have to check their site. But there’s no support number for self-hosted WordPress itself. Just the forums (which are staffed by volunteers and fellow users).

The above is what is listed at the bottom of our website.

If WordPress is not our Web Host – then how do we find out who it is?

    Site url?
