# Crashed website when installed another theme

 * I was trying to install another theme when my entire site seems to have crashed!
   how do I fix this!?! Please help

 * Hi, marieelizabeth, & welcome. W/all due respect, you really don’t give us enough
   information to help. At a minimum, we need the link to your site, what theme 
   you were trying to install, preferably what theme you had before, what version
   of WordPress you’re running, & a description of what you mean by “crash”, i.e.,
   the site doesn’t come up at all, you get an error message, it looks weird, etc.
 * The rule of thumb is provide more information than you think we’ll need, & we’ll
   likely be able to help more quickly.

 * try to remove the crashed theme from the /wp-content/themes/ directory via FTP–
   [http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients)

    what is your current version of
   WordPress?
