Domain issue

    I HAVE BOUGHT THE DOMAIN FOR THE ABOVE LINK. And set up the blog (i thought) but when i log into wordpress org ready to find other bloggers and write to them, MY OLD blog from 5 years ago linked to my email [email protected] comes up, one i never used. But no sgn of the blog above anywhere to be seen? how do i transfer this ? domain ipage told me its a wordpress org thing. Is it an issue having a new blog with same email adress as the old one ? helpppppp x

    What domain did you buy and where did you by it? Did you set the DNS to point to your site at 1and1?

    I have changed the title of your post from HELP to something useful and moved the post into “fixing wordpress” as you seem to already have WP installed.

    What domain did you actually buy? http://tomorrowgirlnet1.ipage.com/ can’t be the domain you bought, as it’s not a domain.

    And set up the blog (i thought)

    Where did you actually setup (or thought you had setup) the blog? With iPage? What is the address of this blog you thought you had setup?

    domain ipage told me its a wordpress org thing.

    ww.wp.xz.cn does NOT host websites or blogs. It’s just a place to download the WordPress software and to get free help when the hosting company you’re paying money to every month fails to help you.

    Your problem seems to be issues relating to your account, and I’m baffled why your hosting company should refer you here.

    We are willing to continue working with you until your issue is resolved… if you’re willing to work along and answer clarifying questions we ask.

    So, as @sterndata previously asked, what domain did you actually purchase? You can confirm this from the email you received after the purchase.

    Also, is the address of your “old blog from 5 years ago” http://tomorrowgirlnet1.ipage.com? If not, what is the address of your old blog?

    And is your current host, where you setup the new blog, iPage? If not, who is your current host (where you thought you had set up the new blog)?
