 * Could someone tell me how to configure the settings so that the image does not
   appear twice in the events? The theme that I have by default has the featured
   image displayed, and I suppose that “events” also has the default display of 
   the image with what that is duplicated, can someone tell me what parameter to
   touch so that the image is not repeated?

 * Hey, comunidadgolf, you can potentially remove the duplicate image via the settings
   by activating “Advanced Mode” and then modify the “Single Event Page” formatting
   to remove the reference to the image.

 * To expand Ians answer a little:
 * At “Events->Settings->Formatting->Events->Single Event page” you’ll find a textarea
   with the markup for the single events pages.
 * You’ll have to remove this part:
 *     ```wp-block-code
       {has_image}
       	<div class="em-item-image {no_image}has-placeholder{/no_image}">
       		#_EVENTIMAGE{medium}
       	</div>
       {/has_image}
       ```
