so I trying to get this plugin to work, and as simple it look can’t get this part
“Select the page for which to display jobs” I have a few pages but usually I get a shortcut to insert in pages but here can get to solve this, please advisethank you
-
there is no option to add the page in the setting
Hello –
When you stated “shortcut” up above, did you mean to say “shortcode?” There is no shortcode for WP Jobs2Careers.
When you go to Settings->WP Jobs2Careers, you should see an option that allows you to select the page for the plugin to run on (“Page to display jobs on“). See here – https://imgur.com/a/SJMEi
The page must be an existing page. In other words, you must first create the page, save it, and select it from that dropdown.
Thank you so for the reply, I don’t see the option like the one in the image you provided, I have many pages for other job board plugin.
Are you sure the plugin has been activated? Please check by going to Plugins -> Installed Plugins, and scroll down to the WP Jobs2Careers plugin. Has it been activated?
Which version of WordPress are you using?
Would you mind providing your site URL, as well as the page you’re trying to activate the plugin on?

sorry I was in something else over the week end I will get back to you shortly
appreciated your helpok so I did update to the latest wp version 4.9.1
and it does look it did activated I did copy over the key from the
email I got. site is under construction, what should I do?
but the option to type the page address is not there and I get this
error in the top of the pageJobs2Careers Notice: You have no pages created. You must create a page to display your jobs on.
and I get in the place where I should type the page address
Page to display jobs on:
You have no pages created. You must create a page to display your jobs on.THANK YOU
No problem π
Can you please send me the URL of the page you’re trying to activate the plugin on?
Also, in your options, did you select the checkbox for the attribution (“I agree to display Jobs2Careers attribution under the search results)?”
If your site is under construction (and being developed on your localhost), this could be the problem. Please let me know if this is the case.

Yes I did select the check box
I have try to disable the undercontruction and still is the samethank you
A couple of things:
1.) There is no option to type a page address in the plugin settings. You must select a page from the dropdown menu. To create a page, go do your dashboard and select Pages -> Add New, and save the page. Next, go to the plugin settings and select that page. When you visit that page, jobs should appear.
2.) The URL you sent me is inaccessible since I don’t have your login credentials. If you’d like me to take a look at your setup, I’ll need to log into your WordPress site with admin credentials (WordPress username and password). DO NOT PROVIDE THOSE HERE! Instead, send an email to [moderated: Email address redacted] with the login credentials.
Thanks,
PeteI just reply back to the e-mail
thank you
so I did try in a new site, same behavior does not work
thank youDid you try deactivating each plugin (one at a time) like I suggested in the email?
For example, deactivate one plugin, then see if the option to select a page for WP Jobs2Careers works. Keep repeating this for each plugin. If you happen to come across a scenario where deactivating a plugin seems to fix the problem, then there is obviously a conflict with that specific plugin and WP Jobs2Careers. Please try it out and let me know.
Well I did not, I did install the plug in a a different WP
under a different domain and the same behavior is happening
so look like a mayor bug.“Jobs2Careers Notice: You have no pages created. You must create a page to display your jobs on.”
Also just in case I did requested a new API Key
and apply to this and is not working. So to make it very clear, in this new WP install I do not have a
plugin enable NONE, and the same behavior is happening with the same
message.βJobs2Careers Notice: You have no pages created. You must create a page to display your jobs on.β
And a page was created.
Please Help.
Are these sites on a multisite network?
