 * I am getting this error if I try opening my blog, or logging into it:
 * Error establishing a database connection
    This either means that the username
   and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t
   contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database
   server is down.
 * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    Are you sure that you
   have typed the correct hostname? Are you sure that the database server is running?
   If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host.
   If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.
 * PLEASE HELP!!!

 * You need to check your wp-config.php file as this is where the information is
   held.
 * This message only happens if something is wrong in this file.
 * The rule is – check it and then check it again if it still doesn’t work. The
   problem is definitely only in this file.

 * If you are using a Mac and running your blog locally (on your own computer) the
   Mysql database software may not be running.
 * When you shut down the computer Mysql closes. It should start running automatically
   when you start the computer again but in some cases it doesn’t, despite being
   set to open on startup.
 * To solve it:
    Go to System Preferences At the bottom in the section ‘Other’ you
   will find an icon for Mysql (a cogwheel). Open it. Click on the button to start
   Mysql. After a few moments it should start running. Return to your browser. Reload
   the page.
 * It should be OK

 * I’va got the same message on my site (www.justadropofwater.nl).
 * I did check the config file (it is correct), I even tried uploading it again,
   but it didn’t fix.
 * I checked the Mysql database at my hosting server and it seems to be running
   correctly (able to write and download to of from it).
 * Is there any thing else I can try?
 * [My hosting service won’t be able to help untill next week due to Easter…]
