help editing advanced-cache

    Nothing I do works I need to upload advanced-cache-php and the there is a directory with that name already there and at the same time it shows as non existent ? changing the permissions does not work- cannot download it or rename it it s called a file but it shows as a folder with an error on it

    Error: /htdocs/wp-content/advanced-cache.php: open for read: no such file or directory
    Error: File transfer failed I have uploaded the file I want with a different file name and I hope to rename it

    Hello,

    Please could you ask your hosting company to change the permissions of the file to 644 as it appears that the file is not currently writable.
