# Help Excluding

 * Well I read this here [http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_list_pages#Exclude_Pages_from_List](http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_list_pages#Exclude_Pages_from_List)
   
   about excluding pages from a list and I would like to do this on my pages list
   at [http://www.jpconcepts.net/wp/](http://www.jpconcepts.net/wp/) but this is
   totally confusing me. I would like the Logo Design Portfolio, Never to Be, and
   the Web Design Portfolio not displayed so it’s just the main pages with no child
   pages.
 * Can someone help explain how to do this cause the page I linked just confused
   me.

 * So, why don’t you use the “depth” parameter?
    `depth=1` will not show the children
   only the main/parent level of Pages.

 * Because the first part of the page confused me so much I didn’t get that far 
   and if I would of I would of answered my own question and found out for myself.
