# help getting 100% width

 * i’ve been playing with a new theme for my site (its not active yet & running 
   against a dev box and for the life of me cannot work out why I can’t get it to
   fill 100% width of the screen.
 * I’m modifying silver light ([http://themes.wordpress.net/?s=silver+light](http://themes.wordpress.net/?s=silver+light))
   and have already tried changing the width tag in the header, main, footer, content
   and entry div and class tags to 100% with no avail.
 * please help
