# Help! Invalid Feed

 * I confess – I am an UTTER NEWBIE… so please excuse my lack of knowledge.
 * I am trying to use Feedburner for my site [http://www.e-series.org](http://www.e-series.org)
   but my feed in invalid. I get the following error message when I try t validate
   my feed:
 * line 2, column 0: XML parsing error: <unknown>:2:0: xml declaration not at start
   of external entity
 *  <?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?>
 * Does anyone know what the solution is?
