# Help modify wordpress

 * Hey guys, I need some help. I’m trying to get WordPress set up on a server where
   they have me jump through several loops.
 * First, the server is using cgiwrap to hide some of the server information. Also,
   what I have to do is to keep all my php scripts in a php directory. If i want
   subdirectories in that main php directory, I have to create a directory with 
   the same name in public_html.
 * Here’s an example:
 * /public_html/
    ——/php/ ———/wp-admin/ ————admin.php ————index.php ———/wp-content/————/
   plugins/ ————/themes/ ——index.php ———wp-settings.php ——/wp-admin/ ———/images/————
   box-bg.gif ———list-manipulations.js ——/wp-content/ ———/plugins/ ———/themes/ `
   etc. (It’s basically set up so that ALL PHP FILES are in the php directory and
   ALL OTHER FILES are under the public_html directory)
 * So I’ve gotten WordPress installed so far, but there are some problems here and
   there. For example, I cannot change themes; basically, it cannot find any themes.
 * Another problem is that all my links are usually just set up as [http://<website>/?<parameters&gt](http://<website>/?<parameters&gt);.
   I’d like to set it up so that it specifically states that it should be loading
   _index.html_. Is this easily doable?
