 * Hello,
 * I updated my wordpress plugins and now I can’t get to the back-end login (www.
   mywebsite.com/wp-admin) or see my site (www.mywebsite.com). I’m under the assumption
   it wasn’t finished updating. But I didn’t leave the page until it said “Updated
   Completed”.
 * This is all my site says when I go to it, or the back-end admin:
 * `Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/content/37/7972737/
   html/wp-content/plugins/wp-hide-post/includes/class-wp-hide-post.php on line
   283`
 * Does anyone know how to fix? Thanks in advance.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fhelp-parse-error-8%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * Hello [@jordanhull](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jordanhull/)
 * Try **MANUALLY **Disabling the plugins
 * To do this, you will need access to your website’s filesystem through your control
   panel’s file manager, FTP or direct shell access via SSH. Follow these steps:
 * Navigate to/wp-content/plugins
 * Find the directory/folder of the plugin causing the problem
 * Rename the folder (wp-hide-post)
 * You should now be able to login to WordPress, and you will receive a small error
   message indicating that the plugin failed to load.
 * Hope this will help.
 * Thanks.

 * Try clear your browser cookies and cache.If the error still persists then, try
   disabling your plugins as some WordPress Plugins may interfere with the login
   process.
 * For further information on this, you can [visit WordPress login Trouble page](https://codex.wordpress.org/Login_Trouble).

 * Thank you! It was an easy fix.
 * Renaming the “wp-hide-post” directory got me back in. Next, I immediately renamed
   back to “wp-hide-post”. Then, I updated WordPress & all Plugins.
