 * I accidentally deleted somehthing important in my function.php file while trying
to get rid of the “posted on” and “posted in” scripts on the page. Now when I
try to access the site, here’s what it says: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected
   $end in /home/galaxi5/public_html/wp-content/themes/twentyeleven/functions.php
   on line 599
 * What do I do??? Help help!!

 * I can’t access the site at all. Is there some way I can get back to the code
editor? Anytime I try to access any part of my site, I just see the parse error.

 * Have you access to the directory files of your website?

 * Re-upload a fresh, unpacked, copy of the Twenty Eleven folder to wp-content/themes
using [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients) or whatever file management
   application your host provides.

 * I am in my directory files through cpanel and I have my functions.pho open. Should
I just copy and paste the fresh, new file in its place?

 * If you have made changes to the default WordPress theme, you need to re-upload
a complete fresh copy. Then, if you want to customise the theme, use a [child theme](http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes).
Having access to an **unedited** version of the theme is vital when dealing with
   a range of site issues.

 * Got it working again by pasting the new functions.php into its place. Many thanks!!!

 * One more question: is there any way to delete the “posted on” (date) at the top
of the page and then the “posted in” (category) scripts on the blog page?
