# Help! Parse Error syntax error, unexpected '{' in

 * When click on any onthe categories at the category widget I get this error
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘{‘ in /home/vdibar/public_html/wp-content/
   themes/bigcity/category.php on line 1.
 * I can access the posts unther those categoris from the home without problem
 * I don´t know how to fix it.
 * I will appreciate any help with this! thanks a lot! 🙂

 * It looks like it is an error with the PHP coding in category.php. What is the
   theme you are using? Is it a professional theme? Did you try to edit it?

 * I checked that category.php file and there aren’t any syntax error with that 
   file. May be that error has occured from another file in the theme which calls
   that category.php file. Can you tell me the exact URL of your site which generate
   this error?

 * Yes Andrew, they does’nt offers support… they just have a forum, I posted a question
   there but I didn’t get any response there… i have the correct version pf PHP 
   and MySQL as well 🙁

 * Sorry Vanissa I checked that page but I can only see that error message. It is
   disgusting that some people sell some half-baked themes even without testing 
   them properly. Sorry but I must say you have wasted your money.
