# Help? please actually reply?

 * I have installed the LATEST version of WordPress about 5 minutes, but no matter
   what file i edit , i cant create my own template, i am trying to change about
   the template on Kubrick default.
 * I want something like this:

 *  i have all the files in
 * default/images that comes with kubrick.
 * but when i change any files it just doesnt work.
 * how do i do it?
 * i tried the guide on here but it doesnt help.

 * I can’t offer you any help with kubrick. It’s a complete PITA to change. My suggestion
   is that you head on over to [http://themes.wordpress.net](http://themes.wordpress.net),
   and have a look through all of the lovely themes there – bound to be something
   similar color-and-layout-wise that you can far more easily customize than starting
   from scratch with kubrick.

 * “Help? please actually reply?” Really isn’t a very descriptive title.
    If you
   have to modify a theme – choose another one. As V said Kubrick is a real pain…

 * What do you mean by this? You edit files in the theme editor, but you don’t see
   the changes?
