# Help! Problem during Server Move

 * my peralinks have disappeared.. if I switch to the default it works again.. but
   the post based links do not. Does anybody have any thoughts on why this might
   have happened. Please help.

 * Have you tried any of the troubleshooting tips at the [Permalinks](http://codex.wordpress.org/Permalinks)
   page?
 * In particular, you might check your .htaccess file and ensure it’s correct.
 * You might also confirm with your new host that mod_rewrite and AllowOverride 
   are both on and properly enabled.
